Relationship issues
Life changes and transitions

The teenage years are challenging for teens and their parents. Teens face many new pressures and may not always react in the healthiest way to the problems they encounter. I have worked extensively with teens and their families to increase communication, decrease conflict, and manage behavior and discipline issues. The most common challenges I have counseled teens on include:

Self-harming behavior
Parental conflict
Problems in school
Coping skills
Anger management
Defiant, delinquent, rule breaking behaviors
Substance abuse

Rates & Insurance:

Currently I am in network with Aetna, Anthem BCBS, Bright Health Plan, Cigna, United Healthcare and United UMR. My billing is done through Sondermind. For those who pay out of pocket, I am happy to provide any documentation necessary for purposes of insurance reimbursement or health spending accounts. Please check with your insurance company about "out-of-network" benefits, as oftentimes they will reimburse a percentage of the session cost.

I accept cash, check, credit card or health spending account card at the time of service. Any non-sufficient funds checks will be charged an extra $25.

Cancellation Policy:
Though I respect that we all experience times in which unforeseen circumstances occur that require making changes to appointments/missing an appointment, as a small business owner, to sustain my practice I must charge for late cancellations and missed appointments. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me, you will be required to pay the full session fee. If you cancel your appointment with less than 24-hours notice you will be charged a $45 fee.
